Countries

In the Countries workspace, the countries maintained in the selected period are displayed. Creating countries is necessary in order to create companies. Each company is assigned to a country and uses the tax rates stored for this country for the calculation of current and deferred taxes.

The chapter describes:

• The creation and configuration of countries, along with an overview of the main attributes of a country, such as tax rates and exchange rates (see Creating and Configuring the Element Type “Country”)
• The importing of exchange rates, including the structure of corresponding CSV files (see Importing Exchange Rates).
