Configuring a Document

Overview
In the Configure document workspace, individual specifications can be configured for each document. These include:
- Localization
- Separator
- Prefix and suffix
- MS Office settings
- Word template used
- Behavior when updating tables
- The settings valid for all documents can be overwritten in the Advanced Settings of an Excel file.
- In addition, document-wide specifications can be configured, for example the display of user names or specifications for import purposes. More information on this can be found in Disclosure Management Settings.

Options on the 'General Settings' Tab
You can set the following options on the General Settings tab in the Configure document workspace. Each option is explained in more detail in the user interface.

Options on the 'Language Settings' Tab
The Language Settings tab is displayed as follows, for example:
You can set the following options on the Language Settings tab in the Configure document workspace.
Option
Description
Add language
Add a document language. After clicking Add Language, the following dialog is displayed:
The following options are available:
- Name of the document language: Name of the language on the user interface
- Localization: Loads country-specific settings for thousand and decimal symbols
- Thousands separator, Decimal symbol: Characters used for these separators. The default settings for a language are selected automatically as soon as you choose the desired localization.
- Text value settings area: Prefix and suffix for text values
- Data view area: Specify the abbreviations that should be displayed in the data view
Edit
Opens the edit mode for the settings of the respective language.
