Configuring Period Locks
Last updated on 2025-06-24
Overview
Period locks are used to lock and unlock all postings in Lucanet.
All data imports, postings, data transfers from MS Excel, and entries in exchange rate tables must be permitted for the combination of data level, adjustment level, time and consolidation unit.
There are two types of period locks:
- In period locks for postings, the periods for each data level, each reporting entity and each consolidation area are defined for the periods in which postings can be made.
- The periods in which exchange rates can be created are defined for a combination of the data level and time dimensions in Period locks for exchange rates.
