To configure a total line:

  1. Click the name of the total line in the tree view and then at the top right on Edit.
  2. If necessary, change the name of the total line.
  3. If necessary, activate the check box Calculate total ending with previous total line if you wish to calculate a subtotal for all structure units below the previous total line.
  4. Click Save.
Automatic Total Lines

When creating references to consolidation areas in the Organization elements workspace, automatic total lines that cannot be deleted are created under every adjustment level.

Automatically generated total lines are only generated if a reference to one of the following drill downs is selected in the superordinate Reference to consolidation area:

  • Adjustment levels separated - default hierarchy of the consolidation area
  • Adjustment levels together - default hierarchy of the consolidation area

If the drill down is changed into one of the following drill downs, the Total line (automatic) element is changed into a total line:

  • Adjustment levels separated - specify hierarchy individually
  • Adjustment levels together - specify hierarchy individually

An automatic total line can be configured like a regular total line using the Edit button.
