Displaying and Editing the Status of Tags

Overview

The status of tagged elements can be defined to obtain a better overview of the tagging process.

Available Statuses

The following statuses are available for tagged cells and text blocks:


Color

Status


Tag in progress: The tagging has not yet been completed. The properties of the tag may have to be re-edited, or a reviewer has reset the status because the tag is not correct or has not been configured correctly.


Tag must be checked: The tag must be checked. Areas, for example, that are tagged in the Lucanet Disclosure Management are displayed in yellow.


Tag completed: The tag has been checked and accepted.


Changing the Status of an Individual Tag

You can change the status of a tag at any time. Proceed as follows:

 

  1. Right-click a tagged element and choose Change status | Status from the context menu.

  2. Choose the desired status.
Changing the Status of Several Tags

You can change the status of several tagged cells or text blocks also simultaneously. Proceed as follows:

  1. Choose the desired cells. Two options are available:
    • Mark the desired cells while pressing the left mouse button.
    • Use the arrow keys on your keyboard while holding down the SHIFT key to choose several cells.
    • Select non-adjacent cells: Hold down the CTRL key and left click on each cell to be included in the selection.
    • Select adjacent cells: Select the first cell to be included in the selection and then hold down the SHIFT key. While holding down the SHIFT key, click the last cell to be included in the selection.
  2. Right-click the chosen cells and choose the Change status context menu command.
  3. Choose the desired status.
    Note: You can change the status of a tag also under Properties (see Displaying and Editing Properties of Tags).
Status Presettings

You can define the following presettings for the status of tags in the Settings workspace:

  • Which status is to be initially assigned to newly created tags.
  • Which status is to be assigned to extension tags.
  • Which status is to be assigned to tags automatically added to the document. Tags are automatically added, for example, if a Word document contains what are referred to as content controls, which may have been added to the Word document in the Disclosure Management
