Group Data Collection

Overview

The Group Data Collection workspace contains general information on the group at large. Most data in this workspace rarely, if ever, changes. Two exceptions are the starting and ending dates of the reporting fiscal year, CbC-0.2 and CbC-0.3, respectively, that change annually.

The Group Data Collection workspace can be found at Country-by-Country Reporting | Group Data Collection. The workspace is displayed as follows, for example:

Changing the Start and End Dates of the Reporting Fiscal Year

To change the starting and ending dates of the reporting fiscal year, CbC-0.2 and CbC-0.3, do one of the following:

  • Click the calendar button on the respective row, and select a new date from the calendar.
  • Manually enter a date, using the format YYYY-MM-DD.

Changes in this section only become effective after clicking the Save button at the top of the page.

Entering Data for the Group Data Collection

Enter the following data:

General Group Information

Enter the following:

  • Name of the MNE group
  • Start date of the reporting fiscal year
  • End date of the reporting fiscal year
  • Activate the checkbox next to Amended Report, if applicable.

CbC-Report Information

Enter the following:

  • Receiving country
  • Transmitting country
  • Report due date

Entity Role Information

Enter the following:

  • Reporting entity
  • Reporting role
  • AuthTaxNumber MNU

Germany-Specific Extension for Reporting to BZSt

Enter the following:

  • BZSt number
  • Account ID
  • Processing run

Warning

This field allows input of specific information related to the CbC report.
If the reported data refers to a period other than a full fiscal year, this can be explained here in narrative form (e.g., ten-month period).
Similarly, if the message contains reports for MNE Groups with differing fiscal years, that information may also be specified in this field.


Additional Information

Contains additional information such as jurisdiction, reference, and language.

To add additional information to this table: 

  1. Click the Add additional information button at the top of the page.
  2. Select at least one jurisdiction and reference from the respective drop-down menus.
  3. Select the language of the additional information.
  4. Type or paste the additional information in the text field.
  5. Click the Save button at the top of the page.
