Status Monitoring

Overview
The collection of all relevant information on all constituent entities (CEs) is among the most time-consuming aspects of tax reporting and requires a high degree of coordination. However, in complex data collection processes, maintaining an overview of the current status is crucial for ensuring accuracy and compliance. Therefore, in the Pillar 2 module, every CE has its own milestone that helps tracking progress and coordinating efforts. These milestones provide a quick and easy way to assess the current state of data entries and ensure both accuracy in individual entries and consistency across all CEs.

Adjusting the Milestone Status
For reporting purposes, milestones cannot be imported automatically. To adjust a milestone:
- Navigate to Pillar 2 | Cockpit | Status Monitoring.
- Do one of the following: select an individual CE, all CEs that you can see based on your role, or any subset thereof.
- Adjust the status of the respective milestones by clicking bulk change.
Note: Even to adjust a single milestone, you need to use the bulk change functionality.
Milestone Statuses
Milestones can be set to the following statuses:
Status
Description
Not started
Work on this CE has not yet been started
In progress
Indicates CEs that are currently worked on
Data ok
Data on this CE has been checked and confirmed as correct
Closed
Work on this CE has been concluded and its data cannot be changed
Checked
Data on this CE has passed a final review
Compliance Functionality
Milestones are also crucial from a tax compliance perspective. Hence, when a user changes a milestone, the Pillar 2 module logs the user name and the time when the change was made. Additionally, the same user who closes a milestone cannot also set its status to checked. Thereby, the Pillar 2 module ensures compliance with the four-eye principle.
