With the Lucanet XBRL Tagger, you tag your annual report and convert it to an iXBRL report package (Inline eXtensible Business Reporting Language), without an implementation project and without IT skills. The XBRL Tagger supports you in creating reports subject to an iXBRL mandate, including ESEF (European Single Electronic Format) reporting, which is mandatory for listed companies in the EU. The relevant taxonomies are already set up in predefined reporting requirements, and you can transfer a mapping you have created once to the following year.
Yes, the Lucanet XBRL Tagger solution requires a separate license. The XBRL Tagger can take over documents directly from Lucanet Disclosure Management. To acquire a license, get in touch with your Lucanet contact or use the contact form↗ on Lucanet's website.
The Lucanet XBRL Tagger supports Word documents (DOCX) and PDF files (PDF). In the Dashboard, you use the Create new tagging file button to either upload a document from your computer or take it over directly from Lucanet Disclosure Management. When you upload a PDF file, you can optionally add a PDF mapping file (PDF.MAPPING) with the same base name to apply predefined XBRL mappings.
Yes. When you upload a new version of an already tagged document in the Lucanet XBRL Tagger using Import new file version, the XBRL Tagger automatically transfers the existing tags to the new version (roll-forward). In the Tag Update Preview, you then review each transferred tag and confirm or reject it before you apply the changes to the document.
The AI features of the Lucanet XBRL Tagger, such as the Tagger Agent, are only available if a valid AI license exists and the AI features are activated in the Lucanet CFO Solution Platform. Only a user with the License Manager role can activate the AI features. If you want to use the AI features in the XBRL Tagger, contact a user with the License Manager role.
In the Lucanet XBRL Tagger, you create a taxonomy extension for company-specific disclosures for which the standard taxonomy does not contain a suitable element. A taxonomy extension is only permitted if the core element of the taxonomy would lead to a misrepresentation. You must link each taxonomy extension to the core taxonomy by anchoring. Each taxonomy extension can have one wide anchor and any number of narrow anchors.
You generally submit the complete report package file (XBRI) that the Lucanet XBRL Tagger creates when it generates the report to the responsible authority. Submitting only the report file (XHTML) it contains is not sufficient. The additional Excel files in the ZIP package, such as the validation report and the calculation report, are intended only for internal purposes.
In the Lucanet XBRL Tagger, each tag has a color-coded status that you use to track the progress of the tagging. The following tag statuses are available in the Lucanet XBRL Tagger:
Tag in progress: The tagging has not yet been completed.
Tag must be checked: The tag is waiting to be checked, for example because it was tagged in Lucanet Disclosure Management.
Tag completed: The tag has been checked and accepted.
You change the status using the Change status context menu, also for several tags at once.
