In the History of a result document in Lucanet Disclosure Management, you find the generated result documents of a document. You can see when and by whom a version was created, and open or download Word and PowerPoint result documents.
Additionally shows the result documents created by other users, provided you have the required permission.
List of result documents
Shows the name, the creation time, the creator, the language, the structure used, and possible errors during creation.
Three-dot menu
Contains Document info, Download, and Delete and, for suitable Word result documents, Re-import result document. The available actions depend on your permissions and on the result document.
In Lucanet Disclosure Management, you open a Word or PowerPoint result document by clicking its file type icon or name in the History. Word result documents are displayed in the browser with MS Office for the Web and in the locally installed MS Word application with MS Office Native. You open PowerPoint result documents exclusively with MS Office Native in the locally installed MS PowerPoint application.
You define which MS Office variant is used for the document under Configure document | General Settings | MS Office variant. For more information, see Configuring a Document.
To save a result document locally, open the three-dot menu in the row of the required result document and select Download. Word result documents are downloaded as DOCX files, PowerPoint result documents as PPTX files. You can also download Excel result documents.
As soon as a new result document is finished, you can also open it directly from the associated notification. The MS Office variant configured for the document is used here as well.
In Lucanet Disclosure Management, you can compare two Word result documents. This function is not available for PowerPoint result documents.
To compare two Word result documents in Lucanet Disclosure Management:
1
Open the History of the required document.
2
Select the check boxes of exactly two Word result documents.
3
Click Compare documents.
The re-import of a result document is also restricted to suitable Word result documents. PowerPoint result documents cannot be transferred back to the chapters in this way.
For a saved version, open the Document info command via the three-dot menu of the relevant row in Lucanet Disclosure Management. The detail view shows the saved creation information and messages.
The following table describes the information in the detail view of a history in Lucanet Disclosure Management. The General, Word functions, and XBRL options refer to Word result documents; they are not applied when a PowerPoint presentation is created:
Option
Description
Created on, Created by
Creator of the result document and date and time at which the result document was created.
Language
Language in which the result document was created.
Structure
Name of the structure with which the result document was generated (for example, default structure, short report, management report)
General
- Control report (add file name): The combined elements of the result document were labeled with the name of their chapter of origin. This allows you to quickly see from which chapter and therefore from which Word or Excel file a particular element of the result document originates. - Write user name in the header: The name of the creator and the time of creation were written in the header of the result document. - Remove values: All values under the control of Lucanet Disclosure Management were replaced by a zero.
Word functions
- Accept all changes and stop tracking: The tracked changes were accepted and change tracking was ended. - Remove hidden text: The hidden texts contained in the Word files were not included in the result document. - Remove comments: The comments contained in the Word files were not included in the result document. - Remove content controls: The content controls were removed; their content is retained.
XBRL
Add XBRL mapping: The XBRL mapping was added to the result document. The Word file can be loaded into the XBRL Tagger.
Messages
List of warnings and errors during the creation of the document with the chapter name and the time of the message. Layout check results are not displayed here.
The MS Office live column shows the MS Office file belonging to the chapter and its last check-in time. Click the MS Office icon to open the chapter file. A marker on the file icon and a highlighted time stamp indicate a later check-in.
In Lucanet Disclosure Management, the History shows whether chapter files were checked in again after a result document was created. This lets you see whether you need to check the affected chapters and create a new result document if necessary.
In the list of result documents, an orange marker appears if at least one chapter with a warning or an error in the history was changed afterwards. The tooltip states the number of these chapters. Each chapter is counted once, even if it has several messages or several associated Office files were changed.
Open the detail view via Document info. In the MS Office live column, you recognize affected chapter files by a marker on the file icon and by the highlighted check-in time. The tooltip explains the change and shows the check-in time and the time of creation. The marker applies to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
The marker only takes into account chapters with warnings or errors in the history. Chapters without such messages and chapters with only layout check results are not counted. A missing marker therefore does not mean that all chapter files have remained unchanged since creation.
Layout check results are displayed neither in the history nor in its Excel export. They remain available in the result document via Event reports on the Layout violations tab. For more information, see Reviewing Layout Check Violations.
In Lucanet Disclosure Management, you can export the detail view of the history of a result document to an Excel file. The export contains the warnings and errors from the history, but no layout check results.
To export the creation information and messages in Lucanet Disclosure Management:
1
Open the History of the required document.
2
In the row of the required version, open the three-dot menu and select Document info.
3
