On the Language Settings tab in the Configure document workspace, you manage the document languages of a Disclosure Management document. For each language, you can assign a separate format template for MS Word.

One of the configured languages serves as the document's primary language (Default Language).

To open the Language Settings tab, proceed as follows:

Open a document and click Configure document.

Configure the language settings if required (see the following section).

One of the configured languages is the document's primary language (referred to as Default Language in the user interface). It has the following functions:

  • It is the default language for new content when no other language is selected.
  • It appears as a separate Default Language entry in the language list on the Spaces tab. Click Default Language there to open the typography rules for the primary language.

To add a new language, proceed as follows:

Open a document and click Configure document.

On the Language Settings tab, click Add Language.

Configure the new language (see the following section).

Click Create to add the language.

The added language then appears in the language list on the Language Settings tab.

The following options are available on the Language Settings tab:

Adds a document language. Clicking Add Language opens the Add New Language dialog (see the section Adding a language).

Opens edit mode for the settings of the respective language.

Adds or removes format templates for MS Word.

To change the basic settings of an existing language or to delete a language, proceed as follows:

  • Edit a language: Select the desired language in the list. Click Edit. The Edit Language dialog opens.

  • Delete a language: Click the trash can icon to delete the selected language. A dialog appears in which you can confirm or cancel the deletion of the language.
