Analyzing XBRL Data with Lucanet XBRL Vision

Overview

Lucanet XBRL Vision is a free, web-based tool for professional analysis of XBRL data that enables instant validation and visualization without uploading data or installing software. It is designed for finance professionals, auditors, and regulators, and ensures full data privacy by processing directly in the browser. The main features of Lucanet XBRL Vision are:

  • Data privacy: The tool requires no registration or installation and processes all data locally in the browser, fully protecting users’ privacy.
  • Ease of use: Navigate your inline XBRL reports with an intuitive, professional user interface. Tagged elements, their relationships, and hierarchies are clearly visualized.
  • Extensive analysis functions: Lucanet XBRL Vision provides interactive visualization of inline XBRL reports, technical and business validation according to XBRL 2.1, and supports standards such as ESEF and ESRS.

Analyzing XBRL Data

To analyze XBRL data:

Use drag and drop or click Browse to have a ZIP or XBRL file validated.

The document is validated automatically after being added.

Do one of the following:

  • View iXBRL report: For visualization and manual review of inline XBRL content and information, the document is displayed in the iXBRL Inline Viewer. The stored XBRL information can be displayed and highlighted.
  • Download validation report: Creates an Excel file with any validation errors and their severity and downloads the file.
  • Convert inline XBRL reports to XBRL-JSON: Creates an XBRL‑JSON file and saves it to the local computer.
