This guide explains how to configure the rights of an ESG user with the Administrator user role who also needs access to data in the Consolidation & Financial Planning (CFP) solution. ESG Administrators need read permissions on CFP master data so that the organization elements defined in CFP are visible in the ESG master data.

Configure the user or users with the ESG Administrator user role as follows:

  1. Open the Users workspace and navigate to the relevant user.
  2. Click the three-dot menu and click Edit user. The Edit user dialog opens.
  3. In the Choose user access and roles section, enable Consolidation & Financial Planning and then Data model roles.
  4. Select the Observer role.
