To allow MS Excel to access Lucanet data, specific, precisely-defined formulas must be entered in the corresponding Excel cells. The formulas are similar to Excel formulas and always consist of a formula name as well as required and optional parameters.

The general structure for LUCANET formulas is as follows:

Note: The parameters are separated with the list separator specified under Regional and Language Options in the Windows Control Panel. If your company uses different language versions of Windows, you must use a semicolon instead of a comma.

No distinction is made between upper case and lower case.

In a LUCANET formula, the formula name specifies the type of information to be queried. The parameters used determine the data or values to be queried. Depending on the structure of the formula this is how different values and information can be queried from Lucanet.
