# User Roles in Lease Accounting

## Overview

The role-based permission system in Lease Accounting enables administrators to control access to specific functions and data within the solution with the following six predefined roles:

- **Data collector**
- **Executive reviewer**
- **Lease operations administrator**
- **Auditor**
- **Settings administrator**
- **Full access administrator**

By assigning appropriate roles to users, you can optimize workflows, increase data security, and provide tailored user experiences that align with operational requirements.

## Assigning User Roles

## Available User Roles

Lucanet Lease Accounting provides six distinct user roles, each with specific permissions across the solution's functional areas:

### Data Collector

The **Data collector** role is designed for users responsible for gathering and entering lease contract information into the system.

Data collector has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

- Lessors: Edit

- Contracts: Edit

- Components: Edit

- Component reversal: No permissions

#### Categorization

- Components to be categorized: Edit

#### Calculation

- Preview: Read

- Calculation: No permissions

#### Postings

- Components to be posted: Read

- Create postings: No permissions

- Posting reversal: No permissions

#### Export

- Create reports: Execute

- Export postings: No permissions

- Created files: Read

#### Settings

No permissions

### Executive Reviewer

The **Executive Reviewer** role is intended for users who oversee lease accounting processes, approve critical operations, and perform final steps including posting.

Executive reviewer has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

- Lessors: Read

- Contracts: Read

- Components: Read

- Component reversal: Edit

#### Categorization

- Components to be categorized: Edit

#### Calculation

- Preview: Execute

- Calculation: Execute

#### Postings

- Components to be posted: Execute

- Create postings: Execute

- Posting reversal: Execute

#### Export

- Create reports: Execute

- Export postings: Execute

- Created files: Execute

#### Settings

No permissions

### Lease Operations Administrator

The **Lease operations administrator** role is designed for users who manage day-to-day lease accounting operations with extensive functional access, comprising the permissions of both Data collector and Executive reviewer roles.

Lease operations administrator has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

- Lessors: Edit

- Contracts: Edit

- Components: Edit

- Component reversal: Edit

#### Categorization

- Components to be categorized: Edit

#### Calculation

- Preview: Execute

- Calculation: Execute

#### Postings

- Components to be posted: Execute

- Create postings: Execute

- Posting reversal: Execute

#### Export

- Create reports: Execute

- Export postings: Execute

- Created files: Execute

#### Settings

No permissions

### Auditor

The **Auditor** role provides comprehensive read access across the system for audit and compliance purposes.

Auditor has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

- Lessors: Read

- Contracts: Read

- Components: Read

- Component reversal: Read

#### Categorization

- Components to be categorized: Read

#### Calculation

- Preview: Read

- Calculation: Read

#### Postings

- Components to be posted: Read

- Create postings: Read

- Posting reversal: Read

#### Export

- Create reports: Execute

- Export postings: Read

- Created files: Read

#### Settings

- Cost centers: Read
- Asset classes: Read
- Interest rates: Read
- General configurations: Read

### Settings Administrator

The **Settings administrator** role is specialized for users responsible for system configuration and maintenance.

Settings administrator has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

No permissions

#### Categorization

No permissions

#### Calculation

No permissions

#### Postings

No permissions

#### Export

No permissions

#### Settings

- Reporting entities: Edit
- Cost centers: Edit
- Asset classes: Edit
- Interest rates: Edit
- General configurations: Edit

### Full Access Administrator

The **Full access administrator** role provides the highest level of system access for comprehensive administration. Full access administrators can create, assign, update, and manage users for the **Lease Accounting** solution from the **Administration** workspace in the platform.

Full Access Administrator has the following permissions:

#### Data collection

- Lessors: Edit

- Contracts: Edit

- Components: Edit

- Component reversal: Edit

#### Categorization

- Components to be categorized: Edit

#### Calculation

- Preview: Execute

- Calculation: Execute

#### Postings

- Components to be posted: Execute

- Create postings: Execute

- Posting reversal: Execute

#### Export
