The Group Data Collection workspace contains general information on the group at large. Most data in this workspace rarely, if ever, changes. Two exceptions are the starting and ending dates of the reporting fiscal year, GEN-1.2 and GEN.1.3, respectively, that change annually.

Activate this checkbox if your MNE group qualifies for exclusion from the Undertaxed Profits Rule (UTPR) during the initial phase of international activity. Consult with your tax advisor or refer to local legislation to determine eligibility for this exclusion.

To change the starting and ending dates of the reporting fiscal year, GEN-1.2 and GEN.1.3, do one of the following:

When configuring Group Data Collection, we recommend the following:

Review Annually: Most fields in this workspace are set once during initial configuration. However, remember to update the reporting fiscal year dates ( GEN-1.2 and GEN-1.3) annually.

Master Data Dependencies: Some fields, like GEN-1.5 (Ultimate Parent Entity) and GEN-4.1 (Filing Constituent Entity), depend on entities configured in your master data. Ensure your master data is current before completing these fields.

Contact Information: Keep the contact information (GEN-3.4) current to ensure that tax authorities or other stakeholders can reach the appropriate person with questions about the filing.
