In the Period copy workspace, you copy CbCR questionnaire entries from a source period into the current target period, for a single Constituent Entity (CE) or for all CEs in scope. Use it to start a new CbCR period from the questionnaire structure and values you already maintained in an earlier period.
The Period copy workspace can be found at Country-by-Country-Reporting | Cockpit | Import | Period copy. The workspace is displayed as follows, for example:
To copy CbCR questionnaire entries from another period into the current period:

Navigate to Country-by-Country-Reporting | Cockpit | Import | Period copy.

In the Applies to period drop-down list, select the target CbCR period. The period appears as Target Period in the table below.

In the Company drop-down list, select the CE.

In the table below, in the Source Period row, select the period to copy from.

Under Select data sections, activate the data section you want to copy from: the Entity Data Collection check box, the Group Data Collection check box, or both.

For the activated data section, in the Questionnaire drop-down list, select one or more questionnaires to copy — for example, Financial Data, Business Activities, or CE Information. Use All and None to select all or no questionnaires.
To copy questionnaire entries for all CEs at once instead, activate the Run import for all Constituent Entities check box in the data section. The bulk copy only includes CEs that exist in both the source and the target period and whose CbCR milestone is not closed; the system skips closed CEs without warning. If you do not see the check box, your role does not allow bulk copies — ask your system administrator to enable it.
For the system to match companies correctly during the copy, set up the company mapping in advance under Master Data | Interfaces, using Position Mapping and Import Mapping.

Activate the Include transaction data check box, the Include master data check box, or both. You must select at least one.

Click Copy, then confirm the data copy in the dialog that appears.
Confirming the data copy
After you have confirmed the data copy, a progress bar appears and updates as the copy moves through these steps:
loading the questionnaire structure
filtering the CEs (only when Run import for all Constituent Entities is activated)
copying the data
copying file attachments
storing import metadata
When the data copy reaches 100%, the workspace reloads automatically and the new Last import entry shows the date and user of the copy.
