At Country-by-Country-Reporting | Calculation | Home, you can create a new snapshot, manage existing snapshots, and select a snapshot that will be presented in the other workspaces under Calculation.

Only users with the necessary authorization can create, view, or delete a snapshot.

While newly created snapshots are selected automatically, you have to manually select a snapshot from the drop-down list after logging into the Country-by-Country-Reporting sub-module. The sub-module does not auto-select an existing snapshot.

To change between snapshots, open the Home workspace. Selecting a snapshot from the other Calculation workspaces — Group Data, Table 1, Table 2, Table 3, Public CbCR (EU), and Public CbCR (Australia) — is not possible.

The table at Country-by-Country-Reporting | Calculation | Home shows all snapshots created for the selected period. Every row of this table represents a different snapshot. In this area, you can, for example:

only. To sort by any other column, use the filter symbol on the right side of that column, as described in the following section.

By default, the snapshots are sorted in reverse chronological order, that is, the most recent snapshot appears at the top of the table. However, in addition to using the Timestamp, you can sort by Name, XML Schema for Report, Currency, Comment, TQ Version, BRG and CbCR Version, Public CbCR (EU), or Public CbCR (Australia) by clicking the filter symbol on the right side of the respective cell. To reverse the sorting order, for example, to sort chronologically, click the symbol again.

As part of the calculation process, the Country-by-Country-Reporting sub-module automatically validates new snapshots. The leftmost column of a row shows the results of this validation: a green checkmark in a circle indicates a successful validation, whereas a red exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a failed validation.

Click the magnifying glass in the second column to open the Validation results for the calculation view. This view lists each validation message with the affected CE or Jurisdiction, the Data Point ID, the Dialog i.e. the affected workspace, and the Message. You can export the message table as an Excel or PDF file.

In case of a failed validation, there are two types of messages:

error message

, caused by missing or incorrect data.

warning

that indicates that an election was not exercised as expected.

A warning indicates an unlikely—but not impossible—value (e.g., 0 employees).

To create a snapshot:

In the Home workspace, click Perform Calculation.

Enter a unique Name for the snapshot.

Select the following:

Currency

Optionally, activate the Public CbCR (EU) check box, the Public CbCR (Australia) check box, or both, to include the corresponding public CbC report in the snapshot.
