The Planning functionalities of our Consolidation & Financial Planning solution can be used to plan on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis for any planning period and display any scenario based on existing plans.

The following features are available for Planning:

- [Accounting rules](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/planning/accounting-rules.md): Used to define automatic contra entries for integrated balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow planning.
- [VAT and input VAT configurations](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/planning/accounting-rules/vat-input-tax.md): Can be taken into account as part of the configuration of accounting rules for accounts and items in general ledgers and subledgers.
- [Sheets:](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/planning/planning-sheets.md) Replacing the previously used Forms in Lucanet.Financial Client, Sheets offer enhanced capabilities for performing financial planning calculations — including the ability to create formulas using natural language.
- [Planning wizards](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/planning/planning-wizards.md): With the help of planning wizards, postings can be made automatically using advanced business logic and complex calculations.
- [CFP Add-in for Excel 365:](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/planning/planning-excel-add-in.md) The Lucanet CFP Add-in for Excel 365 can be used to transfer planning, posting records or statistical values, such as employee figures, from MS Excel to Lucanet.
