## Combining Consolidation Apps and Executing Them Together

To maintain an overview of a large number of elements, any number of **executable folders** can be created in the **Consolidated financial statements** workspace for better structuring.

In executable folders, several **Consolidated financial statements** elements and/or **consolidation apps** can **be combined and executed**.

Executable folders can be created under the following elements:

- **Consolidated financial statements** root folder
- **Consolidated financial statement** elements
- Executable folder

This is how you group elements in a folder in the **Consolidated financial statements** workspace and execute them:

{% stepper %}
{% stepper-step %}
In the **structure view**, select the **element** under which you want to create the executable folder and choose **Create | Folder** from the context menu.
{% /stepper-step %}
{% stepper-step %}
Enter a **Name** in the **Create folder** dialog and select a desired **Behavior** if there should be an error during execution of the folder:

 - **Continue execution**
 - **Cancel execution**
{% /stepper-step %}
{% stepper-step %}
**Save** the executable folder.
{% /stepper-step %}
{% stepper-step %}
Paste the elements to be summarized into the folder. Do one of the following:
 - Add existing elements using the menu commands **Cut** and **Paste**.
 - Create new elements in the folder using the **Create** context menu command.
{% /stepper-step %}
{% stepper-step %}
Execute the folder and all elements contained in it by clicking **Execute folder** in the **Actions** column in the **overview table**.

## Viewing the Execution Status

Whether an app, an executable folder or consolidated financial statements have already been executed and whether the execution was successful is shown in:

The upper right corner of the **detail view** of the app:

Execution status in the detail view

In the **overview table** in the **Consolidated financial statements** workspace in the column **Status**:

Following statuses are possible:

- **Canceled**: Execution has been canceled manually by the user.

In the column **Last execution**, you can also see which **user** executed the element for the last **time**.
