# Changing the Data Model Language of Consolidation & Financial Planning

## Overview

In the overview of Consolidation & Financial Planning, you can set the language of the data model.

The language of the data model includes all language-dependent elements created by the user, such as items and accounts.

Only those languages are displayed for which a language attribute has been created in the [Attributes](https://support.lucanet.cloud/en/documentation/consolidation-financial-planning/basic-configuration-cfp/configuring-attributes.md) workspace, i.e., an attribute for which the **Attribute can be selected as display language** option has been activated.

To change the language of the data model:

In the overview of **Consolidation & Financial Planning**, click on the name of the language in which the data model is currently being displayed.

Choose the desired language in the displayed **Element name** menu.
